Busted...
Two weeks ago, I was out in the living room and Bailey had wandered into the bathroom, like she often does. However, this time was different. I'm sitting on the couch and I hear the water come on. Before I went to assess the situation, I thought to myself, "I think I might want my camera for this", and I was right.
This is what I peeked around the corner to see...

She had figured out that she could climb up onto the toilet, turn on the water, and "brush" her teeth all by herself!

And now, she won't stop! She "brushes" her teeth multiple times a day.

Just more evidence that my baby is not so much a "baby" anymore. Ohhhh, but I wouldn't change her for the world.

Another Catch-Up
Ugh! Can't believe it's been almost another week already. This week has been kind of a crazy, busy week, hence the reason I went almost a week without posting! Here's a recap of where this week went...
Monday:: Got home from VA Beach
Tuesday:: "Recovering" from weekend away; Went to a family member's jewelry party; Brought Zoe home to spend the night; Bailey throws up (first "real" throw up); Zoe goes home; Bailey spends the next 3 hours in a cycle of throw up-clean up-try to settle back down for sleep-repeat multiple times.
Wednesday:: Spend lots of time with Bailey cuddling on the couch; Don't even take a shower (Come on, I can't be the only one who misses a day of showering every now and then, especially due to a sick child???); Bailey seems mostly better but I stay home from church with her so we don't spread any germs she may possibly have.
Thursday:: Work @ Staunton Foods. Going to be working on Mondays and possibly another day or half-day here and there for the rest of the summer. Figure out Bailey is working on 3 (almost 4) molars and is super cranky. Zoe comes over to spend the night. Up late with 2 hyper girls that don't want to sleep. Finally sleep, with both girls in bed with me and Anthony on the couch (by his choice, Zoe usually sleeps on our floor). I'm sure, between the two of us, he slept much better than me!
Friday:: Spend the morning/afternoon trying to console teething child. Forced to take a nap with her since she will not sleep in her crib (you won't hear me complaining about this). Make a trip to Kroger then head over to Mom's for a few minutes. On to the Draft Lawn Party to eat chicken and watch parade. Bailey sleeps in her own bed!
Saturday:: Wonderful hubby lets me go out to yard sales and Target while he keeps Bailey. Wonderful hubby lets me take a nap and entertains Bailey while she was supposed to be laying down for a nap with me. Wonderful hubby helps with doing some cleaning. Quiet evening at home, and watched a really good movie, Enemy of the State.
Sunday:: Church, lunch, wedding planning, trip to Michael's, more wedding planning, lifegroup, home.
And now, here we are, ready to start another week. This summer is going WAY too fast! Here's to hoping I do a little better with the blog this week!

Where I've Been!
Yikes! Almost a week since I've blogged. I have good reason though... let me recap.
Last Thursday, Anthony's Poppa, Aunt Carolyn & Saint arrived in town to visit with us for the evening. They were on their way to Maine for a visit and they parked their RV at the campground right down the road from us. Poppa came over and visited and played with Bailey (and by the way, taught her a new game of dressing her baby dolls in her own clothes!) while Carolyn and Saint got set up at the campground. Then a little later Carolyn and Saint came over and we had hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner. We had a great time visiting with them and were SO glad they got to come.
Then Friday morning, we headed out for a weekend in VA Beach. First though, we stopped at Busch Gardens for the afternoon. We got there a little after 1:00 and stayed until a little after 8:00. Jon & Sam and the boys, and Brynn and Mady came after Jon and Brynn got off work so we got to spend the evening with them, so that was a lot of fun.
Saturday morning, Bailey and I went over to visit with Amanda and Lily. I think Bailey and Lily had fun playing together. It was really cute to see them up on Lily's bed looking at books together. This is something I used to dream about--- Amanda and my children playing together! :) Maybe someday they'll be college roommates. :)
Then after lunch and naptime, Chris, Laura and Elena came over for a while. Elena is such a hoot and has quite the vocabulary! :) One time, we were sitting at the table, the girls having a snack, I think, and Elena, out of nowhere says, "The cheese stands alone!". Hahahaha. I guess she just blurts out whatever comes to her mind. It was hilarious!
Saturday evening, after dinner (yummy enchiladas... my mother-in-law makes the best food!) Anthony's parents treated us to Dairy Queen, mostly so Linda and I could try the new pecan pie blizzard. It was yummy, though I'll probably stick to my regular Georgia Mud Fudge blizzard. I'm a chocolate girl, what can I say? :)
Sunday was church of course, and a fun, loud, chaotic day with ALL sixteen of the Tylers (almost seventeen, whenever baby Jack decides to come)! I can't believe there are sixteen of us. I was getting plates out for lunch and was thinking, "wow, this is a lot of plates", haha! After everyone was gone Sunday evening we watched a Ben Affleck movie... can't remember what it was called now, but it was good.
Then today, Monday, we headed for Busch Gardens again. We met up with Sam and the boys and had a great time with them again. This weekend was my first time at BG ever, and I LOVED it. I just love the atmosphere there, and loved how friendly the majority of the workers were. I know Bailey had a great time. I'm looking forward to sharing more about the BG trips once I get my pics and videos uploaded.
So that is where I've been. Busy living life and having lots of fun!

Good Deal Tuesday
It's been a while since I posted any of my deals, and I got some great ones today, so I thought I would share them.
I'm still getting my feet wet w/ CVS but I was really happy with how well I did today, thanks to a lucky $5 of $20 purchase coupon that spit out of the coupon kiosk when I scanned my card!

I got....
*8 pack Bounty Paper Towels
*20 count Tampax
*16 count Always Pads
*Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide Razor
I had coupons for everything and used 8 ECB's I had from my last trip. My total out of pocket was....

90 cents!!! My total before sales and coupons would have been $29.36, giving me a savings of $28.46 or 97%.
On to K-Mart. They are having double coupons up to $2.00 (five per day) in their Health & Beauty section this week. I got lucky here as well, finding most of my loot on the clearance shelves.

Thursday Thirteen
Thirteen Things that I am Looking Forward To!
1. Going to Busch Gardens for the first time.
2. The Stuarts Draft Fireman's Lawn Party - BBQ chicken dinner and maybe a couple of fair rides for Bailey!
3. Meeting Baby Girl Bruns, hopefully in about a week and a half. :)
4. Meeting our next nephew, Jack Everette, due at the end of the month.
5. Summerfest 2010 - Building 429, Brit Nicole, and Mikeschair on August 20th, all in our little town of Waynesboro, at my husband's school, no less. Just $5 at the door.
6. Fourth of July picnic @ the Lundy's house on Sunday.
7. Seeing Anthony's Poppa, Aunt Carolyn and Saint next week when they stop here on their way through.
8. Wedding planning for Ashley's wedding.
9. Ashley's wedding!!! September 18th!
10. The fall tv season - I miss my shows!
11. Being pregnant again, whenever that happens.
12. Girls night next week -- hopefully, as long as it doesn't collide w/ Poppa, Carolyn and Saint's visit.
13. Finishing our hutch, so I can actually start using it. Hoping it will help keep some of my clutter under control... but guessing it might become a gathering place for more clutter, haha! Hopefully not!
